Lee Edward Födi (Mr. Wiz) Known to his students as “Mr. Wiz,” Lee Edward Födi specializes in presentations and workshops for elementary-aged children. He has taught programs in Canada, the United States, England, and South Korea and is a founding member of CWC. He has worked as a writer-in-residence at schools in Canada and the US, taught at the Vancouver Public Library Camp, the Youth Write Camp in Penticton (sponsored in part by Raise a Reader), and the MASC conference in Ottawa. He has also been a featured presenter at the Surrey International Writers' Conference and the National Council of English Teachers Conference in Philadelphia and Chicago. He has been to Korea on several occasions to lead creative writing camps, retreats, and workshops. Some of his most popular CWC classes include Magic Potions, Dragon Eggs, Journey of the Mind, and Riddles and Codes. Mr. Wiz has been writing and illustrating stories about magic, monsters, and mystery for as long as he can remember. As a child, he continually craved adventure and often found himself searching between the cracks of here and there in hopes of discovering enchanted worlds. Several years later, he had the stroke of good fortune to stumble upon the secret Land of Een and now he is most pleased to be the official chronicler of Kendra Kandlestar, his award-winning children's series. Mr. Wiz studied at the University of British Columbia and has a degree in English Literature and a diploma in Fine Arts.
