Lori Sherritt-Fleming Lori Sherritt-Fleming earned a BA with honours from Brock University then went on to study at The Gaiety School of Acting: Ireland’s National Theatre School, as well as in France and Australia on scholarship. As an artist educator she has been awarded Mentor Artist status with the Royal Conservatory’s Learning Through the Arts Program, the highest level of certification that can be acquired and travels internationally to present at educational conferences including the Banff Conference. Lori has been a mentor with CWC for seven years and an artist with LTTA for eight years. She has traveled to Korea both to record books and to lead CWC summer camp and is always inspired by the students she works with. Lori is a playwright and author for young audiences. She founded and produces shows with her renowned theatre company, The Tickle Trunk Players and currently has eight shows in repertoire in Vancouver and Calgary. Her shows are performed in schools and at festivals including the Vancouver International Children’s Festival. She has had the great pleasure of working in partnership on many of these endeavors with Kari-Lynn Winters, professor at Brock University and award-winning author. Lori’s classes are inspired by fun and are highly individualized. She believes that everyone is creative and values all student voices. Lori naturally brings energy, effervescence and engagement to her classes and believes in using visual, dramatic, musical and physical arts to inspire great stories.
