Vikki VanSickle Vikki VanSickle has an honours degree in drama from Queen’s University and a Masters degree in children’s literature from the University of British Columbia. She has extensive experience working as a counsellor and program director at a number of camps across North America. Currently, she is a founding member, director and sole playwright for Lock and Keynote Productions Musical Theatre Summer Camps. When she is not working at camp, she divides her time between writing and managing the Flying Dragon Bookshop. She is also the proud librettist and co-lyricist of Ike and Pearl: A New Canadian Musical, which received great acclaim at the 2008 Toronto Fringe Festival. In her spare time, Vikki reviews children’s books for a number of publications and espouses on children’s literature on her blog, pipedreaming. She believes that creative writing is a way to engage with the world on a personal level, and hopes that her students learn to be daring and try new things in their own work. She is thrilled to be a part of the CWC team.
