Special Projects ~ Senior

15 three-hour classes taught on a bi-weekly basis (year-long)
Goal:
Determined by students
In this workshop for ages 15 and up, students work as a group to develop, determine, write, and produce a project. Typical projects include books, anthologies, magazines, newspapers, plays, animations/films or other artistic works. Students are responsible for their own editing and choose their own books to read as a group, leading their own discussion circle. In Special Projects Senior, the mentor serves primarily as a guide, overseeing the project.
Special Projects students are also encouraged to serve as "guest mentors" for CWC classes, to help inspire and foster creativity in younger students.
